Salima leads the Talent Practice at inovia capital as part of the team of Operating Partners. She brings the portfolio companies both broad-based mentorship and specific, tactical support in recruiting and retaining talent. She is a key lead within the team on matters of culture and has championed our policies and initiatives on diversity and inclusion. Before joining inovia, Salima was a Talent Advisor at OpenView Venture Partners, eventually joining one of their portfolio companies, Signpost, as Head of People Operations. She also worked in recruiting for Google and Salesforce. Salima begin her career in accounting at KPMG, after earning a Bachelor in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University. Salima also holds a Master of Science in International Employment Relations and HRM from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
