Kamal is currently Vice President of the Technology and Life Science Division for Comerica Bank Canada, where he is responsible for client and venture capital relationships and the delivery of tailored financial solutions to the technology industry. Kamal joined Comerica Bank in 2012 following 12 years at various other Canadian Banks. Since 2014, Kamal has been responsible for the Bank’s senior lending initiatives across Canada focusing on companies in the technology, life science, healthcare, and clean technology sectors. Kamal brings over 5 years’ experience as a technology banker with strong ties to the VC community and is dedicated to support the scale and growth of companies within the innovation ecosystem from start-ups all the way up to IPO’s.
