Clearspring Capital Partners is a leading Canadian mid-market private equity firm that invests in and acquires medium-sized companies through buyouts, growth and acquisition financings, going private transactions, industry consolidations, restructurings, recapitalizations and other types of transactions. Clearspring has been in the private-equity business since 2002. In that time we have closed three funds, which raised nearly $600 million.

Clearspring will focus on the Canadian private equity mid-market and will seek to invest between $20 million and $50 million in companies that:

– operate within established and stable industries;

– have established or have the potential to establish a strong foothold in their market;

– have created or have the potential to create a sustainable, customer-focused competitive advantage;

– are led by experienced, supportive and high quality management teams; and

– have significant opportunities to grow organically or through acquisition.
