Miriam Pozza is a Partner in Transaction and the Global and Canadian Deals ESG Leader for PwC. She also leads the Transaction Services and Private Equity teams in Quebec. Miriam has over 30 years advising clients on all aspects of the acquisition process, from the initial analysis of financial and operational performance of a company, to leading the deals process and closing of the transaction. Her clientele includes both public and private companies as well as Canadian pension funds and US equity funds.

Her role as ESG Leader is to ensure that ESG factors are incorporated in investment decisions to determine risks and opportunities to enhance risk adjusted returns, assess impact on cash flows and through value creation improve the long-term financial and non-financial outcomes of our clients’ acquisitions and capital investments.

Miriam is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators. She also completed her MBA at the Manchester Business School.

Miriam is a member of the Board of Directors of Réseau Capital, PwC Canada, Scale AI, M&A Club and CTS Santé. She also previously served as a Board member and Treasurer of the Women’s Y and the Association of Québec Women in Finance.
