Guillaume Marion

Guillaume Marion is a Partner at Sagard, where he leads relationships with entrepreneurs, family offices, and institutions to drive deal flow, capital formation, and ecosystem growth in Quebec. He joined Sagard in 2017 and has over 20 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, and investment banking across Canada and Europe.
From 2017 to 2024, Guillaume played a key leadership role in scaling Sagard’s venture platform, Diagram. As Partner & COO/CFO and chair of its investment committee, he was instrumental in growing it from one fund and two incubated companies to five funds and more than 20 ventures, creating over 1,500 jobs and generating over $1.5 billion in shareholder value.
Guillaume holds a Master’s in Finance from London Business School and a BBA from HEC Montréal. He is a CFA and CAIA charterholder. He serves on non-profit boards, including the Opéra de Montréal and the Montreal Economic Institute, and is actively involved within Canadian private capital associations.
