Béatrice joined the Teralys Capital team in 2022 as Principal. She brings with her more than 15 years of experience in management and strategy with technology companies. A lawyer by training, Béatrice began her career at Borden Ladner Gervais, where she practiced in the field of banking finance. This experience allowed her to develop strong negotiation skills and lead large-scale, multi-jurisdictional financing transactions.
Throughout her career, Béatrice has worked closely with entrepreneurs and early-stage technology companies in various roles. She notably sold and implemented the BIXI system in several Canadian cities, founded and led InnoCité MTL—the first accelerator for smart city solution startups in Canada—and created a consortium of major corporations to carry out cybersecurity projects.
In addition, Béatrice has gained solid governance experience by serving on the board of directors of Desjardins General Insurance Group. She stands out for her deep knowledge of the Canadian tech entrepreneurial ecosystem, her strategic thinking, and her collaborative spirit, which she puts to work for the success of Teralys’ partner funds.
