This unprecedented study, conducted by the firm EY, demonstrates the considerable impact of this industry on the Quebec economy and the performance of supported companies.

From 2013 to 2023, more than 3,000 companies received nearly $90 billion in investments, contributing $45 billion to Quebec’s GDP in 2022, while creating or maintaining 520,000 jobs. The study also highlights the direct effect of this funding on the revenue growth, productivity, and research and development investments of beneficiary companies.
