Rosalie Vendette

Rosalie Vendette is passionate about sustainable finance, an area where she has been working for almost 20 years. She believes that finance can and must support the transformation of our economies so that they are sustainable. She makes her expertise available to accelerate change.

She works with associations and groups in structuring projects for the sector and/or the members they serve. She is also active with market players, such as financial advisers and investment management firms, and helps them plan and deploy their strategies that take into account environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors. She also speaks on numerous occasions, either in industry events or in the media. Finally, she shares her knowledge with many students at various universities where she teaches the basics of sustainable finance and responsible investment.

For 10 years, she was the spokesperson for responsible investment at Desjardins Group, where she held various positions. Previously, she completed various mandates for the Groupe investissement responsable (GIR). At the same time, Rosalie was active and involved in many collaborative initiatives, such as the PRI signatory network in Quebec and the Finance and Sustainable Initiative (FSI). She was a member of the Canadian committee for the G8 Taskforce on Social Impact Investing and served on the board of directors of the Canadian Association for Responsible Investment (AIR).

In addition to the Bachelor of Business Administration and the Master of Applied Ethics, Rosalie holds the Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) certification levels 1 and 2, granted by the Sustainable Accounting Standard Board (SASB) and a Sustainable Investment Professional Certification (SIPC) from Concordia.
