Job description
We are currently looking for outstanding individuals to join our fast-paced and rapidly growing Canadian Mid-Market Private Equity Fund as Associate in our Montreal or Toronto office. (please make this change in french version if needed)
Your Responsibilities:
- Screening of investment opportunities and pipeline management
- Assisting in the due diligence and underwriting of new investment opportunities
- Co-ordinating and interacting with external due diligence advisors
- Financial modelling of new opportunities and ongoing tracking of investments
- Key role in preparing memos for the fund’s Investment Committee
- Active role in portfolio management, interacting with Management teams and support to board of directors meetings
- Training of interns
- Establish network with peers to fuel business development
Job requirements
Experience & Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience, (Accounting, Investment Banking, Consulting)
- Bachelor’s degree
- Professional designation a plus
- Bilingualism is a strong asset for Montreal (French and English)
