Christine Beaubien

Co-founder and Managing Partner, Accelia Capital

Christine Beaubien is co-founder and managing partner of Accelia Capital, a venture capital fund of over $ 50M that invests in technology companies and prioritizes companies owned or led by women. She has extensive experience in technology, private investment, governance and finance. She has served on numerous boards of directors, including Cominar (CUF-UN), Fonds de solidarité FTQ, Héma Québec, C2MI Innovation Center and Oxfam-Québec.

As a successful tech entrepreneur and angel investor, Christine is a pioneer who has contributed to opening a path for women to take their rightful place in technology and entrepreneurship.

She was co-owner and president of Versus, a tech company that was recognized among the fastest growing companies in Canada and of which she successfully negotiated the sale to a global company. She was also among the first female investors to join the Anges Québec network.

Previously, Christine held key positions in various companies such as SGF, Bombardier Capital, EDC, the Quebec Ministry of International Affairs, Desjardins and Banque Paribas in Paris.

In 2022, she was the recipient of the Inspiration Andrée Corriveau prize awarded by the Association of Women in Finance (AFFQ). In 2017, Christine was named a Distinguished Alumnus, an honour granted by HEC Montreal. She was recognized for her accomplished career, her integrity, her social engagement and her contribution to HEC’s influence.
