EDI workshop: understanding & countering the impact of prejudice

Espace CDPQ9:00am to 1:00pm

December 8th2022

Who do we really mean when we talk about diversity? What do we really mean by good fit? What subtle messages do our job descriptions send?  How does identity shape our perceptions, our feedback, our advice as managers?

We offer a workshop on the cognitive biases surrounding EDI which will give you the keys to avoid implicit prejudices.

Join a thought-provoking and conversational workshop that invites you to look at yourself and your practices from multiple angles.  Don’t expect the “banking model of teaching” here, where an expert will file best practices on your notebook.  The training will prioritise, in favour of learning objectives, that need for connection that is often difficult to satisfy since 2020.

You may not leave with all the answers (some of them don’t exist yet anyway), but you will certainly leave with better questions.

Registration required (link will be available soon)

A workshop by ELLE-Invest.
